Annual meeting of the EU-MATHS-IN and Workshop Mathematics in Industry
The aim of the workshop is to present and discuss examples of good practice in cooperation between industry and academia. Each presentation will consist of a pair of talks on a specific problem given by a mathematician and a representative of industry. Besides mathematical and industrial perspective the speakers are encouraged to describe the genesis and evolution of their project as well as gained experiences and benefits of mutual collaboration.
The series of workshop Mathematics in Industry has been organized in frames of the programme Hopes and Risks of the Digital Era of the Strategy AV21 to foster cooperation between industry and mathematicians working in academia. This workshop has been organized in cooperation with EU-MATHS.IN.CZ, the national part of the European network EU-MATHS-IN which aims to leverage the impact of mathematics on innovations in key technologies by enhanced communication and information exchange between and among the involved stakeholders on a European level. In parallel with the workshop, there will be the annual meeting of the Council of the EU-MATHS-IN as well as the annual meeting of the EU-MATHS.IN.CZ.

Vědečtí pracovnící našeho ústavu V. Pravda a A. Pravdová ve spolupráci s kolegy R. Švarcem a J. Podolským z MFF UK nalezli statické, sféricky symetrické řešení polních rovnic kvadratické gravitace s nenulovou kosmologickou konstantou popisující černou díru.
To následně umožnilo zkoumat tyto rovnice analytickými metodami.

Learnability can be undecidable
